Sermorelin Acetate (10mg)
Research Sermorelin Acetate vial, dispatched from Australian stock. In Stock
GHRH (1-29) amide, the shortest fully active GHRH fragment
Comprising the opening 29 residues of human GHRH, sermorelin represents the briefest sequence that still retains the parent hormone's full activity at the receptor. For a period it held registration in several countries as a diagnostic agent and a paediatric growth therapy, and although it was later pulled from the market commercially, it continues to serve as a benchmark GHRH analogue in laboratory work.
How it works
The peptide engages the GHRH receptor on the pituitary and prompts growth-hormone release while the body's usual feedback loops stay intact. Because it does not carry the stabilising substitutions found in Mod GRF 1-29, it clears within a few minutes, giving it a shorter half-life than that analogue.
What the research reports
Its pharmacological profile was mapped out during the 1990s through clinical application as a test for GH deficiency and as a therapy for growth-hormone deficiency in children. Subsequent research turned to its influence on sleep patterns and cognition among older adults (Baker et al., Arch Neurol 2012).
Key research areas
- GHRH receptor reference — A comparison baseline against which modified analogues are measured

How to reconstitute Sermorelin Acetate
Sermorelin Acetate ships as a lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder and is reconstituted with bacteriostatic water before laboratory use. Volumes used on this page: 10mg: 2 mL.
- Let the vial reach room temperature. Take it out of the freezer about 15 minutes beforehand so condensation doesn't form inside.
- Swab both stoppers. Wipe the Sermorelin Acetate vial and the bacteriostatic water vial with an alcohol swab and let them dry.
- Draw the water. Use a fresh syringe to draw the volume for your vial size from the bacteriostatic water vial.
- Add it slowly down the inside wall. Aim the stream at the glass, not at the powder, so the cake dissolves without foaming.
- Swirl, don't shake. Roll the vial gently between your fingers until the solution is clear. Shaking can damage the peptide.
- Label and refrigerate. Write the date and concentration on the vial and store it at 2–8 °C, protected from light. Never freeze reconstituted solution.
- Work out the concentration. The vial maths table above, or the calculator, converts milligrams and millilitres into mg/mL and syringe units.

Frequently asked questions
What is Sermorelin Acetate?
GHRH (1-29) amide, the shortest fully active GHRH fragment.
What is Sermorelin Acetate studied for?
GHRH receptor reference: a comparison baseline against which modified analogues are measured. GH-deficiency research: a track record as a diagnostic stimulation agent. Sleep and cognition: slow-wave sleep and executive function during ageing.
Sermorelin Acetate before and after: what do the studies show?
GH release in humans was documented through diagnostic and paediatric application; a separate study in older adults reported gains in cognition and sleep measures across 20 weeks.
What side effects has Sermorelin Acetate research reported?
During its clinical use the principal events were reactions at the injection site, flushing and headache, and it held a registered-product safety record up to the point it was withdrawn for commercial rather than safety reasons.
What is the Sermorelin Acetate dosage?
The published Sermorelin Acetate abstracts we cite do not state the amounts used, so there is no study figure to report. Peptide Aus supplies Sermorelin Acetate for in-vitro laboratory research and does not give dosing, cycle or usage guidance for people. The reconstitution section on this page covers how the vial is prepared.
Sermorelin Acetate vs ipamorelin: what is the difference?
Works at a different receptor, and the two are frequently combined for the same rationale that applies to CJC-1295.
Sermorelin Acetate vs CJC-1295: what is the difference?
Mod GRF 1-29 is essentially sermorelin carrying stabilising substitutions, with the DAC version extending duration.
Sermorelin Acetate vs tesamorelin: what is the difference?
The stabilised GHRH analogue that comes with visceral-fat outcome data behind it.
How do you reconstitute Sermorelin Acetate (10mg)?
Add about 2 mL of bacteriostatic water slowly down the inside of the vial and swirl gently; do not shake. 10mg in 2 mL gives 5 mg/mL. Refrigerate at 2–8 °C after reconstitution and use within 8–12 weeks. The calculator has this vial preset.
How should Sermorelin Acetate be stored?
Lyophilised: −20 °C, sealed, away from light and moisture. Reconstituted: 2–8 °C, used within 8–12 weeks, never frozen.
Is Sermorelin Acetate legal in Australia?
In Australia, Sermorelin Acetate holds no Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) registration as a medicine and carries no approval for use in humans or animals. The material is offered by Peptide Aus strictly as a research reagent intended for in-vitro laboratory work. The Poisons Standard and the Therapeutic Goods Act set the rules for supplying any substance for human use in this country, and lawful use of the material rests with the buyer. Anyone seeking treatment should consult a doctor.
Where can I buy Sermorelin Acetate in Australia, and what does it cost?
Directly from Peptide Aus, from Australian stock: Sermorelin Acetate (10mg) is $239.99 AUD including GST. Paid orders before 2pm AEST/AEDT dispatch the same business day, tracked.
